BOMA Fort Lauderdale & Palm Beaches’ Emerging Professionals program helps individuals early in their commercial real estate careers build meaningful relationships, learn from experienced industry professionals, and become more connected to the local commercial property community.
Eligible first-year Emerging Professionals receive complimentary BOMA membership, along with access to educational programs, networking opportunities and events designed to help them grow within the industry.

Who Is Eligible and How Does Membership Work?
The Emerging Professionals program is available to administrators, assistant property managers, assistant general managers, and property managers in their first or second year who work for a commercial property management firm with at least one paid BOMA member.
First-Year Emerging Professionals
Individuals who are new to BOMA and have not previously been members receive complimentary Emerging Professional membership for their first year, including:
- Complimentary monthly membership luncheons
- Complimentary Emerging Professional, education and engineering programs
Returning Emerging Professionals
Eligible individuals returning after their complimentary first year must maintain a paid BOMA membership. Returning Emerging Professionals receive:
- Complimentary Emerging Professional, education and engineering programs
- Access to monthly luncheons and other BOMA events at the applicable paid registration rate
Separate registration fees apply to signature events, including the Summer Social, Holiday Party, TOBY Awards Gala and BOMA Day, for both first-year and returning Emerging Professionals.
Membership follows the calendar year. Depending on when someone joins, complimentary first-year membership may cover only the remainder of that calendar year.
What You Can Attend
Monthly Programs and Property Tours
First-year Emerging Professionals may attend BOMA’s regularly scheduled membership luncheons at no charge. Returning Emerging Professionals may attend at the applicable paid member rate.
These programs provide practical industry insight while creating opportunities to meet professionals from across the local commercial real estate community.
Emerging Professional Events
Eligible programs are complimentary, but advance registration is required.
BOMA offers programs specifically for Emerging Professionals throughout the year, which may include:
- Quarterly networking events
- Educational sessions
- Property tours
- Property Manager and Engineering breakfasts
These programs are complimentary for eligible Emerging Professionals, but advance registration is required.
Signature BOMA Events
Emerging Professionals are welcome to attend BOMA’s major annual events, including the Summer Social, Holiday Party, TOBY Awards Gala and BOMA Day. Registration fees apply for these events.

Once approved, you will receive login information to register for programs and access available member resources.
