BOMA Fort Lauderdale & Palm Beaches connects commercial property professionals with the people, resources and industry relationships that help them succeed. Membership is available to professionals working in commercial office, industrial, medical and retail properties, as well as the companies that provide products and services to the commercial real estate industry.
Who We Serve
BOMA Fort Lauderdale & Palm Beaches serves the commercial real estate industry, including professionals involved with:
- Office buildings
- Industrial properties
- Medical properties
- Retail properties
The association does not serve residential property management, including condominiums, HOAs or apartment communities.

Before You Apply
All applicants must review the Conditions of Membership & Code of Conduct before joining. By submitting an application and paying membership dues, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the policy.

Property Managers, Building Owners & Building Engineers
Property management professionals, building owners and building engineers may apply for membership at any time. Membership is granted upon meeting eligibility requirements, payment of dues and Board approval.
Service Providers, Vendors, Contractors & Suppliers
To maintain a balanced membership between commercial property professionals and service-provider members, BOMA Fort Lauderdale + Palm Beaches maintains a waiting list for new Associate Members. There are also opportunities to bypass the waiting list, outlined below.
Membership Dues
Membership dues are based on membership type and the time of year you join.
January–June
Full-year membership dues apply.
July–September
Membership dues are prorated:
- Property Management Personnel: $320–$450
- Service Providers/Vendors: $500–$575
October–December
Full-year dues apply, and membership is credited to the following calendar year.
Adding an Additional Associate Member
An existing Associate Member company may add an additional representative for $800 when it also secures an eligible new:
- Regular Member — $565, or
- Corporate Member from an existing firm — $405
The Associate Member is responsible for identifying an eligible Property Manager, Assistant Property Manager or Building Engineer to join at the same time.

Non-Members Attending Events
BOMA events are generally reserved for paid members. If you are a Property Manager, Building Owner or Building Engineer interested in learning more about BOMA before joining, contact the BOMA office about attending an upcoming meeting as a guest. The Ron Macklin Memorial Open and TOBY Awards Ceremony are open to both members and non-members.
Ways for Vendors to Join Without Waiting
Join With a New Property Management Member
A service provider may bypass the waiting list by bringing an eligible new Property Manager, Assistant Property Manager, Building Owner or Building Engineer into the association. The property professional must not already be a BOMA Fort Lauderdale + Palm Beaches member. An eligible individual from a company that already has another BOMA member on its roster may still qualify. Before proceeding, please contact the BOMA office at 561-395-6664 to confirm eligibility.
Sponsorship Opportunity
Twice each year, typically in early spring and early fall, BOMA may offer companies on the vendor waiting list an opportunity to join through a $3,000 sponsorship, plus applicable membership dues. Members of the waiting list will receive information when these opportunities become available.
