Ron Macklin Scholarship

BOMA Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beaches proudly established The Ron Macklin Scholarship Fund in memory of a deeply respected commercial real estate professional in South Florida. In recognition of Ron Macklin's lifelong commitment to mentoring real estate professionals, scholarships are awarded to qualified real estate professionals to be used toward Property Management courses geared to provide the knowledge necessary to add value to commercial real estate assets.

Scholarship applicants must be entering, pursuing or engaged in a career in Property Management or Facilities Management. In addition, the recipient must demonstrate financial need and be a local BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beach member in good standing.

Criteria

• Anyone in the PM industry (not vendors) can apply.
• Must be a BOMA member in good standing
• Must be actively working in the property management industry
• Must provide confirmation their employer doesn’t reimburse or pay for education expenses
• Each scholarship covers one (1) class BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches or BOMi
• Applicants must provide details on which class they are looking for assistance with and how much it costs.
• Recipients may only win one scholarship per year.
