Types of Memberships

Regular Property Manager Membership
Property manager, building owner (primary source of income should be from owning commercial buildings), assistant property manager, or building engineer for one year is $735 for one employee member. Additional employees from a property management firm cost $565 each.

Corporate Memberships
Corporate memberships are available for property management firms with six or more employees who are BOMA FTL/PB members. Corporate membership dues are $405 for each person. All six people must be paid to qualify for the discounted rate. For property management firms only.

Associate Membership
Service provider or vendor membership dues are $930. Additional people from the vendor firm would pay $800 each.

Industrial Managers
Annual investment $320 - Anyone employed by a Property Management Firm that exclusively manages industrial properties.

Emerging Professional (E.P.)
This complimentary membership is offered to anyone who works full-time for a property management firm, who already has at least one paid member and who has only been in the Commercial Real Estate Industry for seven or less years. Depending on when the person joins, it may only be a partial year of free membership. The E.P. must pay for the summer social, holiday party, TOBY and BOMA Day (golf) if they attend, although there will be events that are fully sponsored just for the E.P. members, either social or educational in nature, that are complimentary. The regularly scheduled 8 monthly membership luncheons/tour/events are also complimentary for our registered Emerging Pro members.

Existing Associate Member vendor (members only)
An existing Associate (vendor) member firm can add an additional associate member ($800), if they are able to get a an additional Regular Member ($565) or additional Corporate Member from an existing firm ($405), to join at the same time with them. You then do not have to wait on the waiting list. NOTE: It is up to the member to find a Property Manager, Assistant Property Manager, or Building Engineer to join with you. Please contact the BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches office to ensure the prospective member qualifies and that another member has not already paid for their membership.
